Our client, an international transport and logistics company from Europe, is looking for Senior Financial Accountant

Responsibilities:

-Examine and analyze financial information;

-Present findings (written and verbal) to senior management and Directors;

-Support business profitability and growth through findings and recommendations;

-Prepare month-end and year-end reports, balance sheets;

-Cash flow management;

-Analyze current accounting systems, making suggestions for enhancements where needed;

-Ensure the business follows all required legislation;

-Prepare and submit VAT returns;

-Liaise with external auditors;

-Budgeting & forecasting;

-Reconciling accounts;

-Responding to financial inquiries by gathering and interpreting data;

-Examining financial records to check for accuracy;

-Managing and training staff when necessary;

-Drive the continuous improvement of end-to-end accounting practices;

-Develop strategic plans for setting up shared services center for assigned finance/accounting -activities;

-Identify and implement process and system improvements to increase overall efficiency and accuracy in SSC;

-Lead Projects/Initiatives across the shared Services organization;

-Lead Fuel reporting project.

Requirements:

-Higher education degree in Accounting;

-3-5 years of experience in accounting/finance role;

-Strong knowledge of tax law and labor law;

-Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications;

-Proficiency in 1C ver.8.3;

-Exceptional organizational skills;

-Attention to details;

-Strong sense of responsibility;

-Fluency in spoken and written Romanian/Russian/English.
