The company designs, builds, and operates charging infrastructure in public spaces, making the charging process convenient, accessible, and technologically advanced.

Responsibilities:

• Design and implement new backed services and serverless code in Python and Rust;
• Drive transformation of system architecture to meet business needs and scale goals;
• Take part in strategic & execution planning, code reviews, design reviews and hiring;
• Maintain and improve the backend as part of the backend team;
• Work in close collaboration with partners to integrate our services with theirs;
• Take ownership, along with the rest of the team, for building and refining service as the business expands.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Software Developer implementing complex, larger projects
• Expert level Python implementation skills;
• Experience with Rust as a development language would be a big plus, the willingness to learn it a must;
• Solid experience with architecting & implementing distributed systems;
• Hands on off-premise cloud experience, preferably AWS, but Azure, Google Cloud or similar via laC (terraform) is also great;
• A make-it-happen attitude, helping the team to deliver on changing the world from combustion to electric;
• Ability to self-organize and lead in an environment of changing priorities; willingness to work on multiple tasks/content switching;
• Fluency in English, German language knowledge is a nice to have.
