IT Project Manager – Mobile App, Nicosia, Cyprus
Our client is a fast-growing international retail company with a strong focus on innovation and digital transformation. As part of their strategic development, the company is building a mobile loyalty ecosystem to strengthen customer engagement and support business growth. To lead this direction, they are looking for a skilled IT Project Manager – Mobile App, based in Nicosia, Cyprus, to oversee the full lifecycle of the mobile application.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Organize and manage the full development lifecycle of a mobile application — from idea validation to launch and post-release iterations;
  • Translate business goals into clear technical requirements in close collaboration with product, marketing, design, and development teams;
  • Set up and maintain Agile workflows (Scrum/Kanban) including sprint planning, backlog grooming, stand-ups, and retrospectives;
  • Ensure smooth collaboration between iOS/Android developers, backend engineers, QA, and designers;
  • Coordinate implementation of loyalty system features — bonuses, virtual cards, referrals, personal offers, push notifications;
  • Track and manage project timelines, scope, and deliverables ensuring high-quality feature delivery;
  • Identify and mitigate risks related to technical limitations, third-party dependencies, and delays;Work with analytics to define KPIs and integrate tools for tracking app performance
  • (MAU, retention, LTV, churn);
  • Organize UAT and gather post-launch feedback to drive continuous improvement;
  • Maintain ongoing communication with key stakeholders on project progress and priorities.

Requirements:
  • Strong understanding of mobile app development lifecycle and release process (iOS / Android);
  • Experience running Agile teams using tools such as Jira, Confluence, Trello, or ClickUp;
  • Basic technical knowledge — REST APIs, Firebase, SDKs, mobile architecture (MVC/MVVM);
  • Experience managing integrations with third-party systems (CRM, loyalty platforms, analytics tools, etc.);
  • Proficiency with UX/UI tools such as Figma — ability to review and validate user flows;
  • Experience with QA processes for mobile apps — regression testing, UAT, crash reports (e.g., Firebase Crashlytics);
  • Confidence in interpreting KPIs and metrics for mobile apps;
  • Excellent communication skills — able to interact with both technical and non-technical stakeholders;
  • Ownership mindset, strong time management, and problem-solving abilities;
  • Fluency in English and Ukrainian or Russian is mandatory;
  • Willingness to relocate to Cyprus and attend the Nicosia office at least twice per week.
