Our Client, one of the biggest International FMCG Company is looking for Finance Decision Support Specialist, Chisinau.
RESPONSIBILITIES: Monthly and quarterly financial reporting: - Consolidation in Excel of data from 1C Accounting Software and other sources for preparation of P& L at SKU (product) level in accordance with Company Accounting Standards (aligned to IFRS) with supervision of Financial Controller;
- Preparation and ownership of Sales Statistics: calculation of Sales price, Sales Quantity and Sales Mix variances;
- Quarterly preparation of Balance Sheet in accordance with Company Accounting Standards and optimizing reporting process;
- Processing of P& L data and submission in One Box and Magnitude (Group Reporting software solutions);
- Coordination with sales, supply and marketing teams for a smooth monthly closing process within deadlines;
- Participate in reporting format improvement activities, simplification and constant improvement of controlling, and reporting process and tools (accuracy, speed, analysis);
- Direct Communication with Ukraine and EMENA finance and IT team to solve issues relating to reporting: application of changes in accounting standards and Ways of Working, preparation of accounting adjustments, cooperation for solving IT issue related to One Box and Magnitude submissions;
Monthly Business Process cycle: - Assistance in preparation and update of Market Business Strategy and Dynamic Forecast (P& L Budget) at SKU (product) level;
- Transfer Price variation tracking and follow up changes;
- Price increase and P&L simulations at SKU level for different scenarios;
- Control over Product profitability coordination, product mix impact analysis and proposal for Bottom line improvement;
- Responsibility over FIT DF Update (Budget software tool);
- Accounting team assistance and Back Up;
- Learning from Chief Accountant and providing back-up and support in VAT closing, income tax calculation and other tasks
- Collaborating with Chief Accountant and Financial Controller to make changes in 1C accounting software in order to improve reporting process;
Co Pilot Back-Up - Supporting team in PEC Closing and Market Reporting process;
- Continuous improvement of analysis of Finance KPI;
- Assisting with preparation for Monthly Gap Review;
- Participating at Monthly Sales Review and Monthly Forecast Review meetings;
- MOGE Forecast update;
- Prepare ad hoc financial analysis as required to support decision making process.
REQUIREMENTS: - University degree in Finance;
- 2-3 years' experience in Finance &Control or Audit field (international company is big asset);
- Knowledge of IFRS accounting standards and local accounting standards;
- Advance practice and experience with Information Systems: Excel, Power Point, Advanced Excel skills;
- Good English: written and spoken;
- Ability to read, interpret and apply accounting standards;
- Good common business sense / understanding and practical approach (being capable to understand overall business implications while maintaining a detailed / thorough working approach);
- Good knowledge in international accounting standards and National Accounting standards of Moldova;
- Some knowledge of tax legislation;
- Good understanding of information systems.
