FINANCIAL CONTROLLER, CHISINAU
Our Client - international group of companies with offices in 8 countries developing in the such industries like: travel, entertainment, and financial technology is expanding the departement and is looking for a Financial Controller, Chisinau.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Settle up and execute the contract management system in the organization from the financial side;
- Validate contracts based on best financial practices;
- Identify contractual financial risks and provide recommendations on amendment of contractual terms and mitigation of risks, if any;
- Consult internal customers on financial information provided in different types of contracts;
- Work together with the legal team to find the best contractual terms for the company's needs;
- In conjunction with local accounting and tax expertise staff, provide analysis on tax issues and cross-border specific;
- Update the database of contractual covenants, pledges, and guarantees based on newly executed agreements and keep all records in place.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Proven work experience with international agreements, preferably with USA vendors;
- Previous hands-on experience with complex purchasing contracts;
- Experience with different types of contracts (fixed-price contracts, cost-reimbursement contracts, etc.);
- Knowledge of financial risk management systems and basics of international taxes;
- Strong decision-making skills and goal-oriented mindset;
- Interpersonal and communication skills: capable of building relationships across the organization;
- High level of English skills.
