DATABASE ADMINISTRATOR, CHISINAU RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Oracle Server administration;
- Organization of replication and backup;
- Setting up resilient configurations;
- Database monitoring organization;
- Optimization of settings for Linux, storage systems, virtual machines for high-load database operation;
- Troubleshooting and solving database performance issues;
- Identifying resource-intensive queries occurring in the course of operating application systems on a Linux-based database;
- Resolving incidents related to databases and their subsequent analysis;
- Collaborative incident resolution with infrastructure and application support teams;
- Participating in the enhancement of database administration processes and tools;
- Developing database monitoring processes;
- Deploying and configuring new servers and resilient configurations;
- Identifying and optimizing problematic SQL queries;
- Automating database maintenance processes;
- Configuring and supporting data replication between different systems;
- Organizing server deployment processes for database in test, pre-production, and production periods;
- Working with documentation (policies, guidelines).
REQUIREMENTS:
- Over 3 years of Oracle administration experience;
- PostgreSQL administration experience;
- Experience in administering high-load databases;
- Experience in replication, backup, and recovery;
- Experience in troubleshooting high-load database performance issues;
- Experience with SQL queries;
- Experience with Linux, Docker, Bash;
- Experience in script and procedure writing;
- English language proficiency at a level sufficient for reading technical documentation;
- Knowledge of MS SQL Server and Elastic search will be an advantage.
