Business Analyst

Our client – an investment company specializing in distressed assets and special situations, with an operational platform in the Republic of Moldova and plans to expand in Eastern Europe – is looking for an Business Analyst in Chisinau.

Job Objective: To ensure the systematic documentation and automation of business processes, the development of high-quality business requirements, and their implementation through IT tools in an investment company operating in the field of distressed assets and special situations.

Responsibilities:
  • Analysis, modeling, and description of investment pipeline processes (Lead → Prescreening → Due Diligence → Structuring → IC → Execution).
  • Integration with financial models and KPIs (IRR, MOIC, AUM).
  • Support of specific modules (SPV accounting, Risk Register, Investment Memo, etc.).
  • Gathering and detailing functional requirements from stakeholders.
  • Preparing business requirements for the implementation or customization of IT systems (1C, CRM, ERP, BI, Microsoft Office 365 (Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive), Power Automate, Power Apps).
  • Preparing requests for IT vendors and monitoring their implementation.
  • Testing improved processes and documenting the results.
  • Analyzing and proposing business process optimizations.
  • Developing and implementing management reporting (Power BI, Tableau, Excel).
  • Supporting departments in creating tools for their operations.
  • Preparing presentations and analytical materials for the CEO and stakeholders.
  • Maintaining documentation and ensuring the relevance of business artifacts.

Requirements:
  • Higher education in Management, Economics, IT, or related fields.
  • 2–4 years of experience in business analysis, process automation, or related areas (experience in finance/fintech is an advantage).
  • Russian, Romanian, English (Upper Intermediate+).
  • Business process modeling using methodologies (BPMN 2.0, RACI, SOP, Kanban) an artifact formats (Process Map, Automation Brief).
  • Requirements gathering and analysis for automation.
  • Proficiency with BI tools (Power BI, Tableau, Excel).
  • Knowledge of ERP/CRM systems, Microsoft Office 365 (Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive), Power Automate, Power Apps.
